That is Dr. B.V. Rao, A Research Scientist, Technocrat-turned-an outstanding teacher, who has shaped career of over Ten thousand students successfully by enabling them to take berth in various IITs so far and the journey continues as a crusade.
Dr. Rao started teaching chemistry as a hobby while working as a Scientist in J.K.Synthetics Ltd., Kota way back in 1979, where he joined after completing Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras. While working in J.K. he was awarded Ph.D. in Material Science from IIT Delhi and received several awards for his outstanding contributions in chemical industries including Chairman's audit for Quality award from J.K. Organization (1989), Dr. Hari Om Ashram Award From ATIRA (1989),
Dr. H.C.Shrivastava Award from ATIRA (1989, 1993, 1996), I.C.M.A. Award from Indian Chemical Manufacturing Association (1990) and N.R.D.C Award from Government of India (1994). Dr. B.V. Rao has published more than 20 research papers in Professional Journals of international repute and has been granted 14 patents to his credit.
While remaining in the filed of research as a Scientist, Technocrat, Advisor and a Consultant in chemical manufacturing industry, his love for teaching never diminished and he had been external examiner and a guide for M.Tech., Ph.D. and Ph. D. (Tech) and finally he transformed his fancy for teaching into a profession by guiding thousands of IIT-JEE aspirants in Kota. Currently he has fully dedicated himself as a Professor of Chemistry and laid a strong foundation for Rao IIT Academy with a vision to foster Excellence in Education by displaying best of his teaching ability and rich experience.
Dr. Rao works tirelessly and tries to help students to mould their inborn intelligence to the highest possible levels. He has a firm faith in the intelligence of his students and he believes that every one of the students can shine in whatever one undertakes, provided one gets right guidance & right direction to move on, and these qualities required for success in the competitive world could be created only by a teacher, who is fully committed. The price of success, according to him is sustained hard work, unflinching desire, dedication and determination. When the teacher puts in the best of his efforts, the students are sure to go ahead with confidence and could be the winners.
Dr. B.V. Rao adds that in pursuance to help the students, a teacher must know clearly well the set goal of the students and the process of teaching should be planned systematically. According to him, building strong concept of theories and application of concepts through practice by regular problem solving, setting the right strategies, giving assistance for proper time management and temperament control all through the preparation phase and the examination, frequent evaluation of the progress and taking corrective measures are considered very vital since the ultimate parameter of a good teacher is the success of his students in the tough competition. Remember that true hard work, unflinching dedication with strong determination, and sincere efforts are always rewarded profusely.
